Luke Worthington left home eight years ago after the death of his mother to move to Chicago and start a life there complete with a new girlfriend. Now, years later, a mysterious note finds its way in his office warning him of danger concerning his estranged family. He promised never to set foot in his small town again. He especially did not wish to run into the girl he left behind. Besides he and Zoe were living different lives now, surely it wouldn’t be that hard to walk away. He never expected to run into an attempted murder, a raging fire, or to have love blossom in his heart for Zoe again.

Zoe Davis writes unique letters. Being a witch she can see things in the future. Zoe watched when Luke abandoned her without a word. When he returns and danger heightens around the people he loves, Zoe has to convince Luke they must trust each other so the truth can be revealed. Can Zoe help Luke trust her while deciding if she still loves him?

Letters From the Heart absolutely floored me! To see a family torn apart with a dishonest woman and a company out to use injury to protect everything to stay afloat, with a past still lingering over a young man after eight years, was a story that held my attention to the very end. The characters of Zoe and Luke had undergone so much and just had to find their way back. When Ms. Whiting threw in the suspense with all the complex twist and turns of the plot, she created a story that was fast-paced, interesting and very believable.

Anita Whiting takes you on a roller coaster ride complete with suspense and heartbreak. She unveils not only threats, and embezzlements, but also learning to love and trust in any family crisis and getting back what was once lost. This is my first book by Ms. Whiting and it will not be my last. This book is a keeper, a book that should not be overlooked.
