This was a mature, sensual, quick read. Lexie is a strong, no-nonsense heroine and who doesn't love a man in uniform? Tyler is a responsible, sexy police officer who knows what he wants. The storyline is a fresh twist on the older-woman-younger-man plot. While the sex scenes were plenty steamy, I felt they lacked a psychological bond. Unfortunately for me, this was just missing something. I didn't feel connected to either Lexie or Tyler. I'm looking forward to reading the next story in the Red Stilettos series.
