Ms. Bardsley successfully brings a very involved and beautiful story full circle - not an easy task considering it is a short story. Raine is spunky, strong, and beautifully rendered; even when she is her 11th century self she is a force to be reckoned with. Conner (Michael) is a determined man, willing to make up for his past mistakes and take the blame for something for which he is blameless. This was a beautiful, fast and quick story, perfect for anyone wanting a short but very engaging story!
