There’s No Such Thing As A Werewolf by MaryJanice Davidson

Dr. Drake Dragon is blind and he is also a werewolf, which is how he can practice medicine even though he is what most people would call handicapped. With his wolfen enhanced senses he can tell more about a patient than a human doctor with all of their senses. After an attempted mugging he runs into a woman who is very tiny, but what amazes him is that he can see her. He who has never seen anything can miraculously see this woman, he wonders what it means but he does know that he is very attracted to her. The only problem is that she is fifteen years younger than he and she may not be totally sane.

Crescent Muhn has always had this feeling that she should be able to fly and so she keeps jumping off buildings attempting to accomplish this mission. When the wolf prevents her from jumping she is a little upset. Drake prevents her from jumping while in wolf form then decides to take her home and protect her for he realizes she is his mate. He will just have to figure out how to keep her in his life and to understand what motivates her wish to fly.

She has something better for her to purchase. Kira purchases the model that Bast recommends and takes it home and turns on the vibrator. She is amazed when a real Pharaoh prince shows up and calls her mistress and says how may I pleasure you. Kira soon realizes that she doesn’t want to be a mistress and that though Smenkare is only supposed to be hers for thirty days she wants him in her life forever.

Smenkare has been under a curse for centuries now, but for the first time he has given his heart and doesn’t want to have to say goodbye to the woman he has dubbed his queen. Will the Goddess Bast honor their hopes or will Smenkare be doomed to always being a sexual slave?

Melody Talaway is having the most amazing sex ever. The only thing she feels sort of guilty about is that he is only nineteen and is so much younger than she is but the sex is wonderful. That’s why she is so amazed when Alex dumps her, though when he explains it’s because she is selfish and ignores him, that the only time she pays attention to him is when she wants sex. She realizes he is probably right. Melody just can’t help it though. she loves to write horror stories and when she is writing she just tunes out the world. She guesses Alex is right - she is selfish.

Melody decides to go out for the night to get her mind off missing Alex and ends up at the restaurant that Tim and his brother own. Tim sees Melody crying at his place and thinks she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen; he goes over just to cheer her up but quickly realizes that he is attracted to her. Melody wonders if she is turning into the slut of the century. She was just with Alex yesterday but meeting Tim makes her believe in love at first sight. Now that the two of them have met will things work out or will Melody end back up with Alex and Tim with his ex-wife?

This is one of the funniest anthologies I have ever read, each story has so much humor. This anthology is very unique in that each relationship is not what would be considered the norm. You have everything from a blind hero in Ms. Davidson’s very funny and very erotic story to Ms. Bardsley’s Kira believing that she is not worth having the love of a good and kind man. Then there is Mr. Tanglen’s two very wrapped up in their own world people and their very madcap adventures realizing that they don’t need to change who they are, but accept themselves for who they already are and love themselves and find truth love with that realization. I really recommend this anthology if you want or need a good laugh, and who doesn’t want humor in their life?
