Ms. Guillone's writing style is flawless and profound. Without a doubt or hesitation, this is one of the better paranormal/shape-shifter books that have hit the shelves in quite a while. The storyline is original and compelling. The dialogue and thought sequences are bound together with perfect harmony. Serena's character is so believable sweet and kind natured that you can not help but fall in love with her. Serena is torn and still holding onto her memories of Theo. She has never had the frenzy to mate like she does with Aubrey. The feline disposition of Aubrey is intense and very aggressive. His first whiff of Serena sends his sexual drive into a tailspin. The carnal gratification is riveting and will keep you glued to the pages. Will Serena be able to quiet the beast within her mate? This is one reviewer that will be waiting for the next book that Ms. Guillone produces, for it is sure to be another winner like THE LION'S LOVER!
