| Molly is so deep in debt from her ex-boyfriend that she lives on the line between poor and very poor. Three months ago, shed walked into Kyle Ashtons office applying for the open position as receptionist, the latest in her temporary jobs and with the thought that a receptionist position might be simple and without any complications. Little does she know just what she is in for...
Right from the start she found him so attractive. The massively overwhelming urge to seduce him, to work on breaking his self control is so very strong but she has yet to attempt any move. His just appearing somewhere near her tends to throw her totally off kilter. She doesnt have an inkling that Kyle really wants to know just what Molly is up to. He can see right through her fibs and he just cant figure out what she is doing. But his curiosity sure doesn't get in the way of his strong, very strong urge to want to have her in his bed. Something really strange is going on at the firm and Mollys slight ineptness puts her smack dab in the middle of all suspicions. Kyle hasnt had many situations in his life where he might have easily learned to give trust. So called friends in his past hadnt in actuality been that at all. His lack of faith in mankind gives him an uneasy relationship with his co-workers and employees and particularly in this situation leaves him wondering just who the true guilty party might be. I loved the fact that even though Kyle isnt sure just what is going on and knows Molly is hiding something big-time, he doesn't allow that secret (in his subconscious thus allowing this trust) to get in the way of their very mutual interest, even with Molly now attempting to fight against it. Great story with a somewhat out of the ordinary heroine. Definitely recommended reading.
