| Spending the summer as a dude ranch cook is just perfect for cowboy-loving Lisa. Garrett the barman and Case the owner feature in her nightly heated fantasies. But Lisa knows that's all she'll have is fantasies. They would never go for a woman like her. She's not beautifully tall and lithe but short and soft with ample curves.
She's not the only one having fantasies and the boys are ready to show Lisa just how far reality exceeds fantasy with some hot summer lovin' she'll never forget. Talya Bosco sure turns up the heat in this little gem of a story. It's a decadent, rich indulgence, a seduction of the senses. I particularly enjoyed the dialogue which was smooth, witty and highly entertaining. And how the boys skillfully maneuver Lisa to where they want her, just plain sneaky, I loved it. Lisa was comfortable in her body and I liked that a lot. While she has no illusions about her appearance, she is not a wilting flower and came over as a strong capable woman. The boys, well Talya does a fabulous job of painting a yummy picture of Garrett and Case, which I'm sure will have Cowboy lovers like me drooling. This is a delightful, 'though as far as I'm concerned over way too quick, since I sure wasn't ready to leave the boys behind' story that will be reread, again and again when I need something steamy and lighthearted. Though not a romance, it hits all the buttons with a satisfying ending and leave you wondering if there will be further adventures of Lisa and her Summer Cowboys.
