| An Egyptian tale brought to modern day. Anna, an archaeologist on a famous dig, had come across some very valuable artifacts. But as she stepped inside the tomb she had the strangest feeling she had encountered the Egyptian ruler before in a dream. He had departed from this world centuries ago. Why was he still here? What was he planning to do? Capture Anna or kill her? Why would he put her into a life and death situation? Will his ravenous passion shatter any hopes of rescue for her?
The need to know more about Anna’s dilemma kept me reading. When our heroine slowly walked into the tomb, a dream-like atmosphere surrounded her. This element of surprise is what I look for. If it makes me jump or stop and wonder, then there is a good story there. We Shall Live Again is one of those stories. Very successfully done! We Shall Live Again was a very entertaining read. At first I thought the title might be just a bit misleading until I got a little deeper into the story. Yes, the characters were realistic when it came to the research into archeology. The mental pictures Brenna Lyons evoked for this reader were very impressive. The artistic skill catapulted me into the story right along with Anna into a dream realm. There was intense and believable suspense that nicely combined with the romance.
