Katie has loved Ryder for years but he always kept their friendship as just that. He is her brother's best friend and looks at her family like it was his own and feels like Katie deserves more than he can give. Katie has been shamelessly pursuing Ryder this past year, trying to be what she thinks he wants. With no luck and another obstacle thrown in her way, Katie really decides to go all out and Ryder better watch out. He'll wonder where this bad girl came from!

Susannah Carr does a great job with letting the reader know her characters. Katie's true personality shows through with every move she makes. I loved how Ryder really knew Katie, the kind of knowing that comes from deep within, letting the reader know his true personality and his feelings for Katie. Katie's friends added to the story and I can't wait to see what Ms. Carr has in mind for them. My interest was caught from the beginning and held throughout the book. Ryder's restraint with Katie gave the love scenes more depth. I thought the sex scenes worked perfectly with their developing romantic relationship while remaining true to their longtime friendship. The book had some great oh my gosh moments that really put this book up to another level. The ending was perfect and I found myself going back through the book and rereading certain parts. You won't be disappointed with this book filled with sexual chemistry, great friends, and hot sex!
