| Sharra is an empath that has spent her whole life running from everyone that would use her talents or destroy her if they knew what she was. She’s carefully hidden her talents from the world; particularly the Cyborgs who hated her race for helping the Pagan’s torture them, even though at the time her people had no choice. When her parents die and she is left stranded, she finds herself the sex slave, and not very happy about it. When the man who owns her gets rescued, he decides to get rid of her… by giving her to a Cyborg named Logan. When Sharra meets him, she knows he is the one she’s been dreaming of… but she can’t ever tell him what she is.
Logan has been having debilitating nightmares for years now and sometimes wonders if they are going to get the best of him. He dreams of the horror he had in his child hood and wakes up with a killer headache, literally. His doctor is worried about him because nothing seems to work to stop the pain and deterioration… until he meets Sharra. She seems to ease him just by being there. When fate conspires against Sharra and reveals her secret, will he be able to forgive her? Sharra was a very trusting individual for the life she had led, I was somewhat surprised to see her fall into Logan’s arms like she did. Of course, I suppose it had to do with her ability to understand and see into his head. I thought that it started out very promising, and I was really starting to enjoy the book when she was betrayed. I was disappointed to see how extreme Logan’s reaction was and if I was Sharra I wouldn’t have forgiven him any time soon, he would have been begging me for forgiveness! Logan’s Fall was engaging and kept me hooked until the very end, wonder how everything was going to be resolved and if Logan will ever forgive Sharra for hiding her identity. If you like action packed stories with lots of passion, this is definitely the one for you!
