| Casey Keller works with young boys and is very much in the closet, much to the dismay of his boyfriend Adam. Adam is tired of being Casey's dirty little secret. When things implode between Casey and Adam, Casey runs to the one person who always makes him feel better, Park Ranger Nathan with whom he had a one night stand. Casey's unannounced visit results in Casey's discovery of Nathan's biggest secret.
I absolutely adored Casey and Nathan. They were so cute together. You could feel the love and deep admiration they had for one another. It was impossible not to like these men who denied themselves for what they hold most dear. Casey was afraid to come out of the closet for fear that it would cost him his job as a counselor at the YMCA. He is very dedicated to the boys he helps. Nathan, on the other hand, pushed Casey away after their first time together because of the danger that Nathan's secrets pose to Casey. I am so glad that Casey refused to be denied once the truth was finally out. A Long, Lonely Howl is a sweet, yet sensual romance that's full of angst. It is the first book by Lyn Gala that I've read and it won't be the last. You won't be disappointed by picking up this fantastic tale.
