Silver is desperate to talk to Jet, lord of the Wood Clan. He’s the only one that can save her clan from the maniac that has taken over from her brother and she’s willing to throw herself on his mercy in order to achieve it. She never expected to feel more for Jet than gratitude, nor did she expect the high cost he would extract from her… This is a wonderful story, I had a great time reading it, and it kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering what would happen next. I love a strong heroine, and Silver certainly fits the bill. She’s a warrior and not afraid to make a decision and stick with it. Jet is a strong person too, somewhat tortured by his oath of celibacy and his attraction too Silver. I can’t wait to see what happens with the rest of the warlords, particularly Paulo, he sounds very intriguing. I will definitely be on the look out for more from this talented author, and will put Lords of Ch’i on my auto buy list.
