Kendall just couldn't cope with Ryan's job, working with the mob, she never knew if he was coming home or someone was coming to tell her he was dead. She decided that if he couldn't give it up, she couldn't be with him. But when Ryan goes missing, will she finally wind up losing him forever?

This story is the tale of a couple who has been married and is now divorced, but that doesn't stop their feelings for each other. Kendall is strong enough to walk away from Ryan and comes back when he needs her. Ryan is confused as to the reason why Kendall left him, but still loves her. When push comes to shove and his life is on the line, will Kendall get the chance to tell him how wrong she was for leaving him? This is a short one coming in at about forty five pages so it's a quick read and a very interesting story.
