Lost Memories was a fun blend of the futuristic and paranormal. This story has far away planets, space travel, an alpha shifter and his stubborn mate. The story itself flowed nicely but became a bit confusing with the use of a different language at times and references to a culture of people that you aren't knowledgeable about. You feel almost as if there is a back story that you should know or have a glossary handy so you can look up various words. These are just minor things compared to the chemistry between Mace and Honie which is undeniable and at times explosive. You watch in avid fascination as Honie tries to deny her feelings for Mace and fights against forgiving him for leaving her in the Nachul’s prison. Mace is a fun mix of restraint in an alpha male that has you guessing how long he can stay calm and when he will let his tiron side go free. In this story you meet other members of Mace’s thent who have also lost their mates and as such the author has left it open for them as well. I look forward to hearing their stories too.
