Lindsay Willows, former famous choreographer, is part Fae and part Vampire. She runs a community center and teaches classes there during the day. At night she fights for her life against the supernaturals who want her to name the Prince of Darkness. Supposedly, she is his mate; unfortunately, she has no idea who he is. Her friends and family have been trying to fix her up, but she has been resistant. Until Exavier, the front man for the group Loup Garou, walks into her office. He wants her to come out of retirement to work with his band. That isn't all he wants, and for once Lindsay feels safe. She is tempted, but reluctant to leave her friends and the kids at the community center. She is also reluctant to expose a mere human to the dangers she faces every night. Exavier however, is much more than he seems.

This book was very hard to put down. The main character grabbed me at the beginning of the story. She is so strong in spite of the terrible things that life has thrown at her. Her friends are having a very hard time keeping her alive, and she hates imposing on them and exposing them to the horrors she faces every day. Exavier is exactly what she needs, even though he shows up almost too late, due to the lies his mother told him. The love story is scorching and the action never stops. The book is loaded with weres, vampires, demons, demon slayers, and the fae. This is one exciting paranormal romance.
