| Can an ordinary dentist really deal with an absessed fang in an ultra sexy vampire? Apparently so, but she probably can't do it without getting involved. The vampire is John Wright, and the dentist is Dr. Lauren Marsh. By the time the dental problems are solved, the pair is well on their way to immortal romance.
This was a cute story, with well developed characters, who were geniunely likeable. Doreen, John's personal assistant, and Rosetta, Doreen's dental hygenist, were an unlikely pair of cupids. If only there were a dentist with night hours, which, of course, our heroine is. And a night person at that, who wishes that she could see all of her patients after dark. Any reader who has to get up way too early for the day shift will sympathize. The vampire was a little bit light as vampires go, a really nice guy who has been burned by love in the past. But that didn't make the story any less enjoyable. I could easily imagine both he and Lauren, years down the line, as a happily married couple with tiny immortal children. If, of course, she decided to join him in his night life,. And that's the question waiting to be answered in Susan Blexrud's Love Fang, which I understand may have a full length sequel. I plan to read that as well, and hope it is as much fun as this shorter taste.
