Kenleigh Dwyer has been eight months on the disabled list. Even for the world’s top-ranked tennis star it will be difficult to fight her way back into the game. Kenleigh was attacked and her arm badly sliced, probably by the same crazed fan that’s still sending her threatening mail. Big Al, Kenleigh’s father, hired Blake Garrison to be her bodyguard. Blake was once the top ranking NASCAR driver before he had a suspicious accident that ended his career, right after he refused to throw the race when Big Al asked. Kenleigh doesn’t respect Blake because he works for Big Al. Blake fears Kenleigh’s involved in Big Al’s criminal activities. How is it possible for love to grow so deeply without trust?

Love Game is a great read with a dynamic plot and scads of suspense, intrigue and erotic sex. The characters are engaging and utterly realistic. Kenleigh switches between hard-assed super-star and vulnerable innocent who’s only ever wanted Daddy’s love. Blake is torn between being unconditionally judgmental and tender lover who desires to give everything he is to a woman he’s afraid to love. Neither trusts the other enough to share their secrets about Big Al. Kenleigh is afraid to not marry her manager as Big Al insists because she fears her own father was responsible for the attack on her and the damage to her arm that took her career away from her. Blake knows his heart will be broken when Kenleigh discovers the real reason he is working for Big Al. The storyline is remarkable with twists and turns that surprised me and arousing sex that ranges from hot, hard and punishing to hot, tender and lovingly committed. This book thrilled me right from the beginning. It is a definite must read.
