Theron Ambrose is a vampire. He hunts and drinks blood in order to live and walks through life without becoming involved or falling in love. He has been avoiding relationships and doesn’t want to chance giving his heart to anyone because it could mean his own end. Then one night quite by accident he literally runs into love and can’t avoid it any longer. Can Theron resist the tempting package of Leah presents or will he wind up unveiling his true nature and showing her his dark world.

Leah Nolan is hit by love in a big way, actually she’s hit by Theron’s car, but it does give her an intro into his strange and unusual world. There is something very different about Theron that Noah just can’t place. He is obviously hiding something and Leah is intent on finding out just what his secret is. How will she react when she finds out that Theron is an immortal vampire and wants to spend the rest of eternity with her? Even more important is can she give up her mortal life for an immortal one?

If you are a fan of vampire tales then you certainly have to pick this book up. It gives a different aspect on the whole vampire scene and will intrigue and dazzle you. Theron is an awesome character and has a darkness about him that will pull you in. Leah is a mystery and has her own story that is slowly unveiled as the story unfolds. There is a gothic feel to this tale and Kelly Wallace combines it perfectly with the suspense and desire that develops between Theron and Leah.
