| Through the channels of one's mind, a cry is unleashed, mournful and suffering. Raiden must find his little jewel to quite the pain and sooth the soul.
Raiden Vagner and his good friend, Paul, are at a gathering of authors. Within one of the groups of well-known authors, Raiden sees a woman whose cries of pain touched his mind and forever shifted his soul. What make this woman so special are her handicaps. Juliana is blind and has MS, yet she is a famous author who writes vampire books. Little does she know, that a sensual vampire is waiting to set her free… Love Like Blood is by author J. J. Massa. The writing in this book is beautifully poignant and well executed. Ms. Massa writes with an authoritative voice about her character's handicaps and the internal struggles she faces daily. The personal touches Ms. Massa lends to the characters nuances, gives the readers a better understanding of how a person with physical disabilities can achieve and master what may seem impossible to others. The storyline blazes a new path that is penned in love and forethought. The characters and dialogues bring forth a realism that this reader connected with from the moment she opened the book. The second Raiden and Juliana touch, they feel that spark of mutual hunger that souls feel when they recognize one another. Their passions are like satin sheets, smooth - lubricious and wildly erotic. Raiden sees Juliana not as a person with physical disabilities, but as a woman with courage and beauty. Juliana's nasty husband, Levi, could pose some problems for Raiden and Juliana. Not only was this a highly entertaining vampire story, it was emotionally insightful and touching. This reviewer highly recommends you read it. Get your copy of Love Like Blood by J. J. Massa today!
