It takes drastic measures for him to consider coming out of the closet and readers will find themselves wanting to stand up and cheer him on as he contemplates this life changing occasion.

Jessie is young and cannot deny who he is and does not want to lie to his family. He may be naïve but it seems it is more a sense of his age and the way of the world’s changing views.
