| Jonah has longed to explore the world outside the Amish community in which he lives. Raine is a player, enjoying the nightlife of Chicago. An act of violence brings these two very different men together. While Raine is recuperating at a friend's farm, he meets Jonah. The attraction is instant yet each man must face his own fears if they are to find love.
This book is part of Andrew Grey's Love Means series. It can be read on its own but it is a richer experience to know the secondary characters and their stories. Jonah and Raine are real people with real emotions. They have to deal with the baggage that comes from their very different lifestyles. Each man has to confront both his past and his belief system. Grey creates characters with flaws as well courage. I could feel the confusion and turmoil of Jonah and Raine as they tried to reconcile their feelings for each other. This is an old-fashioned love story with a contemporary flavor. The m/m sex is explicit but not the focus of the book. I would recommend this story to anyone looking for romance. I also found this series to be a lovely introduction to m/m erotica. Grey's first book in this series, No Shame, was the first m/m love story that I had ever read and now I'm hooked.
