| Red Rock, Montana was a smallish town that used to be Natalie Bennington's home. Her grandmother still lived there. After the death of her grandfather, Natalie's overbearing mother persuaded her to take a leave-of-absence from her teaching position and go help her grandmother move to Oregon. While entering the town, her car slid into a snow-filled ditch. Fortunately a friend from high school, Cade Weston, came by and took her to her grandmother's home.
Cade Weston, along with his long-time best friend Kale Dunn, seldom spoke to her in high school. She was a band member—way below their status. Things had certainly changed since the separation 15 years earlier. There was an immediate reaction to Cade. When he told Kale about helping her, Kale had to go check her out. The conflict between the two men and Nat's attraction to both stirred a major tension. This is my first introduction to Sandy Sullivan. It will not be my last! Her writing style is fresh with never-ending surprises. Her characters are dynamic, well developed and likeable. The grandmother was saucy, comedic and racy. Her reactions made the story even more enjoyable. The sensuality was so explosive it definitely would not be for a sensitive reader. The ménage was expanded so there became even more unanswered questions. The fact that there were two men hinted at a sequel to me. I hope so. Ms. Sullivan has mesmerized me. I have become a fan. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in this storyline. The details about small-town living are correctly depicted. Do yourself a favour and read this book!
