When Eagan Morton releases his most recent submissive, he can’t seem to get his life back together and on track. His mind wanders throughout auditions for his upcoming TV shows and he passes over amazingly talented dancers. When his friends discover the reason for his mood, they devise a show idea of their own. In the spirit of “The Bachelor”, they propose a show to find Eagan’s next submissive. He doesn’t think they’ll be able to find the kind of woman he needs within the ten week shooting schedule, but he’s desperate to fill the void in his life.

Ananda Zelder is astonished when Eagan Morton passes on her for his new show. He really earned the nickname that she has for him during her audition, Ego Morton. When she finds out he’s casting a new reality TV show she can’t wait to sign on the dotted line, but accepting a spot on the show means accepting a lot more than she was prepared for. His new show is about finding him a new submissive complete with whips, chains, collars, and cuffs. With revenge in mind she forges ahead with the show, planning to win the whole thing and then dump his egotistical behind on national TV. But when the cameras are rolling Ananda and Eagan discover things about themselves that they never expected.

The publisher really should have put a stronger warning on this wonderful read. Something along the lines of “Should you read Love My Way you may spontaneously combust.” Ms. Midway took a daring (and deep) leap into the world of BDSM and came out with an astounding, emotionally charged novel that I couldn’t put down. I’ve never read a novel that crawled inside the mind of both a dominant and a submissive to give readers a genuine look at what it feels like to whip and be whipped. This is not a story for the faint of heart and it isn’t your parents BDSM novel. Be prepared to read (and be aroused by) things that I never imagined. (I can’t give too much away, but it’s H-O-T!) In the beginning of the story, Eagan is the guy you love to hate and by the end you want to join Ananda on you knees at his feet. Ananda goes through so many changes and revelations at a pace that makes the reader truly believe what she’s going through. Ms. Midway took her time in expressing and explaining the differing emotions and thoughts that pass through a submissive’s mind, making the entire novel all the more real. With the number of contestants on the show in the novel, I truly hope that a few of them will get happy endings of their own in future works.
