But as the sparks fly, will one night ever be enough? Or will past hurts drive them apart forever? Lover's Bargain is a sweet treat. The whole story is romantic and fun to read. The character are very likeable. Mattie is such a wholesome, good natured gal. Even though her life has been anything but easy, she is still hopeful. All her hard times, and betrayals just make you love her. Cole is the ultimate cowboy. Good and kind, but deep down trying to overcome a great hurt. There is nothing sexier than a hard working cowboy! I also loved his sweet country dialouge. The whole story of Mattie and Cole flowed nicely. Even though it is a shorter novel, it was not lacking anything. Everything was explained and concluded throughout the story. The past was brought to light with great detail. I enjoyed my adventure back in time to a small Texas town. I recommend this book to anyone who loves sweet, sexy cowboys!
