| Bianca has two lovers: Jameson and Adrian. Emma Jameson is married and has three children. And Adrian is in a relationship with Toby. His love life is full of drama. And the drama increased when other lover arrives on the scene.
Lovers is a very interesting book. It's not only a love story. In fact, I would say that the history of the book is about the pursuit of happiness and what works for you. You do not have to settle for what society dictates as right and you do not have to fit a label to be happy. You have to seek the kind of relationship that makes you happy. The book is told by the various view points of the characters involved in the story. We met Bianca. She is a Domme that keeps a relationship with Jameson and Adrian separately. Despite these relationships, she's not in love with any of them. She doesn't like to feel vulnerable and out of control so she does not put herself entirely in any of the relationships. Jameson is polyamorous, which causes friction in his marriage to Emma. Adrian is with Toby but also has sex with other people. I could say more but I could reveal a lot of the story. During the book we know a little of each of the characters, what they feel, what they think, a bit of their lives. It connects you with the characters and the dramas they face. The story so well written and easy to follow that I didn't see the time pass I was so involved in the lives of the characters. In short, Lovers was a great read and a story which definitively that I would read again. I would not mind visiting the characters again to see how they are.
