Wow! Once I started to read this book I had to finish it. I read it in one sitting and I can't wait to read the stories of King Lars and his two other generals and their attempt at finding wives. This book has a little bit of everything in it. There's enough of our “real” world in it, plus the magic of the alternate world that Romulas and his people are from. The reader is told of all kinds of magical creatures that exist in the Lares kingdoms. Add to all the fantasy creatures, the extraordinary characters and some very hot sex scenes and amazing chemistry between Penelope and Romulas and this book is a winner in my eyes. Romulas and Penelopes characters are flawless and fully developed. The support characters add something a little extra special to this story with their support and devotion to Romulas and therefore Penelope. From the first moment they meet, Romulas and Penelope are overtaken by passion. From that point on it is very hard for them to take their hands off each other. If you enjoy books full of romance and loads of hot sex scenes you will greatly enjoy this story. I can't wait to read more books by Ms. Blackwell and this fantastic Lares Kingdom that she has created.
