L. Shannon gives us a fine addition to this series with two vampire brothers fighting crime and trying to control the evil vampires in their midst. Jonathan, the genius brother, seems to cope better. He's the one who sought out a vampire to turn them. Dillon is an emotional man. Love, hate, guilt, pain, anger, his feelings keep him from accepting what he is. The author proves adept at giving us a well crafted story with some excellent, easily visualized scenes of hellfire and damnation when the duo with their compatriots go after the evil villain. Ms. Shannon keeps the story full of action and a bit of suspense that makes it hard to put down.
