Dr. Gabe McCafferty had a radio program for the past several years. It was WCHK’s best-selling program. Gabe’s long-time producer of the program Lovesick had given a very short notice that he was retiring. The head of the radio hired Sunni, a rookie with an impressive resume. Neither Gabe nor Sunni wanted to be attracted to each other but, of course, they were. They became friends, close friends, almost soul mate friends.

Ms. Loree Lough has once again penned a great storyline with a plot that, at least to me, was different and fresh. The two main characters had obviously both been devastated by their past. They were well established personalities and worked well together. She gave interesting tidbits about the couple which gripped my attention.

This concise story is one which will leave a great feeling with the reader. Even though I was sure of the outcome, the journey took a totally different route to get there. The ending was most surprising to me. I really enjoyed the book and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to read a wholesome romance.
