Madison Hughes is happy with her life as the cupcake queen. She has her niece, her brother and her friends, but pangs of desire for a man in her life haunt her every now and again. It’s been two years since she had her heart broken and she’s ready to try her hand at love once again.

Cam was her brother’s best friend in high school and Madison had never forgotten the nicest jock she had ever met. When he returns to town to take care of some personal matters, will he leave her wanting more, or stick around for what could be the chance at the love of a lifetime?

Love Songs is a sweet short story about a second chance to land a childhood crush. The story was good and the writing was clean. I felt that this story could have been further developed and taken at a slower pace for character development. In the end I felt a little cheated out of what could have been a great love story. Still for a fast paced, good read, I would recommend Love Songs.
