The previous year, Gunnar had missed out on the one day of pure unadulterated sex when he was called to duty as a hunter of poltergeists. Yet a year of internet texting brought Gunnar and Kelsey together, bringing them together for a night of pure unadulterated sex. That night was pure heaven for both. Several months later they met again by accident and relived the vibes of passion. As a result Kelsey became pregnant and that pregnancy brought Kelsey to the brink of hell because of a poltergeist that followed her home. Gunnar and pals got rid of it and brought Kelsey to their celestial Purgatory realm of pure love as well as pure hatred. The hatred brought a squadron of hunters to fight the evil within.

Ann King writes a nice novel, giving us an image of what the celestial angelic realm could look like. She uses many grandiose words that are wonderfully woven into the fiction that moves the novel forward. Some of the story is redundant and seemed to take up more space than needed due to several moments of repetition. The main characters as well as the secondary characters scream of realism in a way that makes you want to read on.

All of the characters oozed of realism, the fights really brought on thoughts of ‘where is the cavalry,' and the poltergeist felt so real, dark, and foreboding. Oh, and Gunnar's room, check out the bathroom, it's so dreamy. The sexual encounters are nicely displayed in a way that really is sensual giving us an image of pure delight that goes on between the two lovers. You also feel as if there were a possible love attraction with two other characters. I'm pleased to let others know it's worth reading.
