Loving Carlie

Becky Barker
Contemporary erotic romance
Available from Ellora's Cave

Carlie is a bridesmaid in her sisters' wedding, which is a real highlight in her life. The last thing she needs is to become one of Michael Trehearn's women. She was married to his big brother and it ended in disaster. She knows of the reputation Michael holds and has no aspirations of being his next bimbo. She can't stop the attraction she feels for Michael, but she can't give her heart again. She soon finds herself working with him and promising to keep their relationship strictly professional. However, it's not long before the sparks are flying yet again.

Michael has wanted Carlie since he can remember; starting from the day she married his brother. Now they are divorced and it's time for him to make his move. The wedding is the perfect opening and working together will be even better. Will Carlie give in to the passion she feels or keep herself at a distance? It's a test of wills to see who will give in first and Michael must use everything in his sensual arsenal to convince Carlie to give her heart again.

This book reads really fast and is a great story. Carlie is determined not to be one of Michael's girlfriends and Michael is convinced that if he just sleeps with Carlie, he can get her off his mind. It's a contest to the finish to see who will win.
