When a satyr starts messing around with the Paranormal Mates Society client database, the results prove to be a wild ride for Ares, the God of War, and Thera, one of the Furies in charge of the force of natural destruction. She's looking for a sensitive and gentle man who isn't afraid of her reputation. What she gets instead is the bullheaded and dominant Ares, a man who loves destruction and war. He's definitely not what she is looking for, but as their date progresses, Thera discovers he might just be what her heart really desires. Can this mismatched pair find happiness in destruction?

Thera and Ares create an inferno together! Amelia Elias really plays up the similarities in their dispositions, but also makes it clear to the reader that both of these characters are looking for something different in their mates. I enjoyed the intermingling of magic and mythology, and I really liked seeing Thera, the Fury of destruction, learn to loosen up and have fun. Ares proved to be equally tempting with his debonair manner and his comic timing that is a stark contrast from what one expects of the God of War. Though they had similar personalities, there were plenty of differences to keep the date interesting and the sexual tension simmering. Loving Fury is a great addition to the Paranormal Mates Society series and shows that even those who revel in destruction, war and natural disasters need love and companionship too.
