| Cinda Ellis is a hard working single woman trying to raise a child. She has been working seven days a week to get some extra money. While she is working too much and smiling too little, her daughter, Sami sends a letter with a bid of $25 to a contest. Cinda's dear friend and neighbor helps the little girl send the letter and adds one of her own. It is a contest for a weekend with a famous writer for mother's day.
Wade Travers is angry that his mother, along with his agent, Freida Neilson, have put him in such a spot. He is being auctioned off for a weekend for underprivileged children. He agrees that the cause is great but he hates this type of thing, until he reads the letter from the little girl. In TEMPTING FATE:SOLD TO THE LOWEST BIDDER, Kay Wilde writes an intriguing love story. It is very fast paced and keeps the reader enthralled from the very first page. The characters are very life like and the reader becomes involved with their desires immediately. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I would recommend this author to anyone that loves romance.
