His questions will have to wait until they reach safety and home.
This is a very exciting tale, full of action and some pretty powerful love scenes. Kira and Lucas’ developing relationship is full of mistrust and conflict despite the powerful sexual chemistry between them. Lucas’ mistrust of Kira was a bit wearing at times, but the secrets she keeps from him make him leery of her. Malcolm is a very puzzling character, and his actions do not make any sense to me. There should be a little more explanation of the characteristics of the two different clans, particularly the insanity issue. I especially liked Kira and Lucas’ brother Kane intrigued me. This looks like the beginning of a really good series. The evil Lara and sneaky Malcolm look like they have more tricks to play on the residents of the Dragon.
