Jianne Carlo pens an erotic tale of two people who have been attracted to one another since the first day they met dealing with life as its handed to them years later. Nalini is well done as a girl who's conflict between the life given to her and the life she wants. She's taken unusual measures to escape from Hindu tradition, not thinking of the effect on those who love her. It should be plain to the reader why she wanted to escape from her overbearing fiancé. He's not a very nice person in any culture. The members of the Hades Squad are great and well written. Nalini's parents have a few surprises for her. Her life has changed drastically but so has her mother's. Erotic interludes provide plenty of spice as the virginal Nalini learns about sex from the much more experienced Sax. She learns to give as well as she gets in some very steamy sessions between them. The tale is a bit predictable but there's enough humor to give it a boost. For fans of eroticism this series can be both educational and fun.
