This was a funny, adventure-packed paranormal read. Muriel is one hell of a heroine. She is a saucy spitfire who talks back to her daddy the devil and yet she's a good girl trying to make a go of her own business while living life by her own set of rules. She is a very admirable character and I think I'd like to be her friend. Auric is a sexy and serious hero whom I found a pleasure to find out all about. These two definitely have a connection and I enjoyed their interactions, especially Muriel's sarcastic comments which he took in stride. Lucifer is a very likable character in this short tale and I'd love to see him pop up again, perhaps in Bambi's own story. I'd also love to see Auric's hottie friends get stories of their own. I highly recommend this if your looking for a chuckle with your action.
