| Jordan Mackenzie had inherited a ranch from a great-aunt she had only met once. She had no idea how much The Lucky Seven would change her life. She also had no way of knowing why her aunt had left the ranch to her. She knew nothing about ranching but she intended to learn. Quickly she met two men who were destined to be part of her future. Which one would be her HEA wasn’t known for a while. There were also three other men who played a pivotal part in her life.
Wyatt Brannigan was her next neighbour. He had her horses at his barn and offered to help her make the transition to owner of the ranch/horses. Cole Roberts met her in town. He was a gorgeous man who happened to be a contractor—her new home needed extensive updating. There would be a multitude of hazardous actions for Jordan to deal with—all because Addison Stillwell, with the help of his two hired goons, was determined to own her property. He would do anything to make sure she sold to him. Ms. Coverstone has, once again, written a saga about the love of her life—horses and the west. I quickly became a follower of Ms. Coverstone after reading her first works. I now look for anything with her name—it’s sure to be a winner. I commend her for her ability to tell her stories so they are fresh and new and never cookie-cutter types. No matter what I read, I’m amazed at her ability to seize her readers’ attention with an inspiring storyline. Her characters are multi-faceted and their actions are not necessarily predictable. I enjoy that in a book—I don’t know from the first page what will happen. That’s important to me. Many of today’s stories are so predictable. Hers are definitely not. The multi-faceted way she writes mesmerizes me. I find her style refreshing each book I read. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a romance with a mysterious slant to it. You will not be disappointed.
