Simone has always been one to do what she wanted when she wanted it. Being tied to her daughter's father and his new mate, lately her life has been very dull. Johann is set to be the new alpha, and he wants his daughter with him. Rejoining her old pack is not exactly what she wants to do, but she remains determined to not change to suit anyone but herself.

The one thing Simone was not expecting was that she would meet someone that would knock her off her feet. Rock Toubec is a Cariboo Lunewulf. A bigger, faster, more "primitive" wolf than any she had ever met. Rock not only wants her to stay, but he wants her for his bed. With one mate brutally killed because of her headstrong nature, the very last thing he wants is another woman who would rebel against the rules. But there is just something about Simone he cannot deny himself - even if it means trouble. When bodies of humans and werewolf females begin to show up on his ranch, Rock's first obligation is to protect Simone, even if she will not stand for it. Now he must find the people destroying his peace.

Ms. O'Clare has done it once again. Simone is headstrong and trouble with a capital "T," and Rock is strong and dominate. The only question is, who dominates whom! Simone and Rock are headstrong, set in their ways but together they are hot, sexy and wonderful. A great addition to a superb series.
