Alexander continues the journey to the dark sensual world of the Children of the Goddess continuing to dazzle the reader with the magical plot of danger, adventure, passion, love and destiny. The author as the ability to write with such an intense edge that she pulls the reader into each scene holding them hostage until the final page of the story has been read. The Alpha hero’s are strong, determined, sexy and so very dominate characters that they seem to jump off the page and right into the readers heart and the heroine is a feisty, caring, sensual woman who is not afraid to fight for what or who she loves. The chemistry between the three reveals a great deal of heart, sensitivity and erotically sensual heat that will have the reader’s heart pounding. The ménage elements are playful as well as being raw and rowdy, to down right sexually captivating. I would highly recommend reading Regina in the Sun, book one of the Children of the Goddess series, first before reading Lux in Shadow. Book one will guide the reader with the necessary background information to understand the complex world these characters live in and how it has shaped their lives. With book two the author seems to dive right in to the action with the understanding that the reader is familiar with the characters and also with the journey they have been sent on and why it is so important for them to succeed. Lux in Shadow showcases the author’s talent as a very gifted storyteller!
