I really enjoyed this paranormal romance. This is a fast-paced story that kept me glued to my seat. I wasn't going anywhere until I finished this story. I liked Lucas even though he tried to fight his attraction to Jennifer, and he was a jerk with her in the beginning. He quickly changed his tune when he knew that they were meant to be together, and he did protect her from enemies that wanted to destroy them. I also liked Jennifer. She was strong enough to fight for what she wanted, and she was brave enough to stand up to Lucas, especially when she thought he was going too far in his protection of her. Serena was another matter. Her I didn't like because she wouldn't take no for an answer. She wanted Lucas and did everything possible to come between Jennifer and Lucas. She deserves the trophy for the most hated book villain. The love scenes between Lucas and Jennifer are hot. This story contains very sensual love scenes.
