He never expects to find his mate in the middle of the escorts he’d hired for his wild party… All Lycan’s Eve started out wonderfully; I was really getting to know Callie and sympathize with her and was definitely looking for her to find some fun. I’d even met Kean and started to understand the pressure he was under. Unfortunately, when I got in the middle I started to feel like the story was being rushed along and the character development almost stopped. I never really felt that I got to know the two as a couple and as a consequence the passion between them didn’t really work for me. It seemed like Callie was simply confused about what was going on. She wasn’t really sharing the connection with Kean, and everything was happening at the speed of light after they met. I still think that the story was fun to read and I liked that Callie wasn’t some fresh 20 year old looking for a good time… she was a mature woman who was looking for a good time!
