Lydia Neal is convinced the dreams she's having about being in the dark, dim cave every night is her imagination working overtime. They can't possibly be real.

Eremon wants nothing to do with his sister's crazy scheme to save his clan. Involving Lydia in the Draca's problems can only end badly for her.

The Draca are a dying race and need help to survive. Lydia has been chosen by the gods of the Draca to help them. Lydia has no clue why these people want and need her so badly. She's still trying to get over the last boyfriend, and doesn't want a new relationship.

Lydia and the Draca by Louisa Kelley is a spicy and fast moving book. The characters are well written and the story flows well. Lydia is a strong woman with a great sense of humor. I really liked Lydia and thought she fit it with Eremon very well. Eremon is a sexy and muscular hero and a bit on the stubborn side. I was very happy when he realized the truth. There was instant chemistry between Lydia and Eremon that could almost be felt. The secondary characters helped to balance the story line. There is a lot of explicit language in this book plus several scenes with oral sexual content. Ms. Kelley has penned these scenes with such detail and believability. I really enjoyed reading about the Draca and the hardships their race has overcome. I would really like to read more about Lydia and Eremon and the Draca in future books. This is a great short story if you want a smoldering hot paranormal book and a quick read.
