Louisa Cellini has had enough of men. She does not want any man to own or control her. Living independently in Montvale House in Yorkshire, Louisa provides herself with her own pleasure once day with the help of a secret room filled with a collection of toys. She believes there is nothing wrong in being aware of one's sexual and sensual needs.

When Louisa friends Beatrice and Harry, the Earl and Countess of Dunsmere, ask her to take care of the injured scientist Professor Owen Lloyd-Jones, she readily agrees. Owen had been injured in an experiment that left him not only wounded but also blind. Although the doctors believe the blindness is temporary, Owen feels like he is half a man. Angry at being a "worthless cripple", Owen frustration grows as his strength returns and not his site. Using the immediate attraction between them Louisa decides to educate Owen on what the rest of his body can do even without his sight.

Ms. Kelly pens a wonderfully written story filled with marvelous chemistry and emotion. Lying with Louisa is an extremely steamy tale that packs quite a punch in a few pages. This is the third story in Ms. Kelly's Tales of the Beau Monde series but stands completely on it's own. Those who have read the previous stories will be delighted that Louisa finally makes a match. The well-developed characters and emotions quickly draw the reader into the story. This tale is a sensual delight that I highly recommend.
