Macy Wilson's first adventure into the city alone ended up with her being hauled to jail. Her father hires his old college friend, Jerrod Preston, to represent her. There is an immediate and cautious attraction on both sides. Not only is there a difference in regard to race, Macy is only nineteen. Will their differences be the stumbling blocks on the path to love?

This one was just okay for me. The premise stoked my interest and I was curious to see what the author had in mind for these two. The characters are depicted as two beautiful people and it seemed their physical presence is very important. The story is a little far-fetched in my honest opinion. Age difference and race aside, I just couldn't see these two as a serious couple. I understood the sexual connection, but to evolve from that into something deeper didn't connect for me. The surprise at the ending was off too, Jerrod's reaction was trite. It just didn't ring true. I like a good May-December romance and this one had great potential. While it was engaging in part, the unbelievability factor lost me.
