Those three fun loving fairy godmothers are back again and this time they are after Max’s sister Joy Aaronson. Myrtle, Fern, and Blossom have decided that Joy needs someone to love and they have just the right man picked out for her.

If Joy was asked to describe herself she could do it in two words boring, and klutzy. Growing up with two older brothers that both went to collage and were now a psychiatrist and a lawyer left Joy feeling like she didn’t fit in. She was not cut out for collage but she did have a knack for fundraising, so she started Ripples, a non-profit group that raised money for different causes. It was at a fund raiser where she met Sophie, a six year old little girl who stole her heart. When Sophie’s mother announced she was getting married and asked Joy if she would take Sophie to her father Joy agreed. Assuming that he knew they were coming Joy was a little surprised to find nobody home when they arrived, but it left Sophie feeling unwanted and unloved.

Gabriel St. John could not believe that his ex wife had given him custody of their daughter but he knew he had this beautiful woman to thank for it. Now his only problem was who would take care of her while he was at work, so he asked Joy if she could stay until he found someone. Not wanting to leave Sophie yet Joy agreed to stay and it didn’t take long for Gabriel to realize how comfortable they all seemed to be together. Is “comfortable” enough to build a relationship on when all Joy wants is for Gabriel to fall as madly in love with her as she is for him?

Holly Fuhrman’s “Fairy Tales” are unlike any books that I have ever read before. They are full of Humor, Romance, and even a little magic that can make your wishes come true. MAGIC FOR JOY is such a great read and little Sophie will steal your heart just as much as she stole Joy’s. Any reader who enjoys a really sweet, romantic read will love MAGIC FOR JOY and don’t forget ’MIRACLES FOR NICK” the next book in the “Fairy tales”!!
