| Charlotte Purcell dreams of one day becoming a sought after artist just as her parents had wanted for her before they passed. She hopes to leave her aunt and uncle's but according to a gypsy's prediction, she will marry an earl instead of working as an apprentice in Scotland. Charlotte is not the type to listen to the fanciful predictions of a gypsy but for some reason the words of Madame Thea linger in her mind.
Lord Knollton, Colin, arrived at Faringdon Manor in hopes to find out why his brother had been killed. The last thing that Colin thought he would come across was an artist dancing the waltz in the moonlight. He is reminded of his duty to find a wife and heir after the rather unsuccessful seduction attempt that Lady Remington subjects him to. I found myself drawn into the magic, mystery, and romance that Fiona Neal delivers in The Magic Of Moonlight. Over all, it was the delivery of this story that kept me interested until the end. Fiona Neal knows just how to keep the story progressing without adding any unnecessary drama. I found that some of the plot points and secondary characters were slightly predictable at times but over all entertaining. Even being somewhat predictable, many of the secondary characters were as well developed as the main characters. Some of the more intimate and sexual moments were lacking what I can only describe as sensuality but that is not to say that the general romantic scenes weren't amazing. The mystery in this book was always kept alive and brought the story together nicely. Even with the problems I came across in this story I must say that I honestly believe that Fiona Neal is a talented author and will only become better in the years to come.
