| Jordan Weston never thought she'd have to visit Magnolia, South
Carolina again, but when her Grandmother Viola passed away, Jordan is
forced to come home to Magnolia and reckon with the past. She wants to
sell her grandma's house, Belle Coeur, but it is in bad shape and
needs repairs. Knowing she has no choice, Jordan heads to TNT
Construction to get some help fixing up the house. TNT Construction is
owned by her high school crush Sam Tanner, the man who gave her a hot
kiss the night of her junior year Spring Fling Dance and then
disappeared. Jordan has never forgotten that kiss and neither has Sam.
One look at the grown up and beautiful Jordan has Sam lusting for
another kiss and a whole lot more.
Jordan hires Sam to work on Belle Coeur. She wants him to get in and get out so she can get back to New York and her career as a promising theater director. Soon though, Jordan becomes involved in Magnolia's community theater. She's having a lot of fun and is reconnecting with high school friends. The chemistry with Sam just isn't going away either. The more they get to know each other, the higher the fires of lust are flamed. When they finally make love, neither expects the feelings that being in the other's arms invokes. Is it enough to make Jordan say good-bye to her dreams of New York and perhaps start a new dream with Sam? Magnolia Summer starts off hot and just continues burning up the pages. The chemistry between Sam and Jordan was great, very sexy and erotic, but it was the budding relationship that Jaci Burton cultivated that held my attention. Sam and Jordan had a lot of pent up emotions between the two of them and it was a lot of fun reading about how they finally got their relationship going. The lovemaking in this story is adventurous and very erotic, including anal sex, all done in a very tasteful and sensual fashion. Ms. Burton has penned a must read romance!
