| Becca Weiss works as an office administrator for a pediatric clinic.
She lives alone except for her pet cat, Gizmo. One evening while she
is enjoying her favorite adult cartoon, 'Dark Side,' she is
transported to a medieval world. She is surprised that Gizmo is also
there, but he is changed. Gizmo can now talk. They immediately find
themselves in danger. Armor-wearing warriors riding flying dragons are
after them. A handsome warrior saves them. He says his name is Lobo,
same as in the cartoon. Becca does not know how, but somehow both
Gizmo and herself have entered the world that 'Dark Side' is based
upon. She finds herself trying to avoid capture by the evil king.
Becca, Lobo, and Gizmo, with the help of fairies and a wizard, will
have to defeat the evil king to save both their worlds.
Ashley Ladd has written a delightfully creative original story that takes the reader on an erotic thrill ride to a magical world filled with wonderful colorful characters such as the talking cat, Gizmo. Gizmo will keep the reader laughing throughout the story. Becca is a modern woman who is sent to a medieval-like world. She finds herself having to rely on others. She comes from a family that does not express love and she has never felt she has known love. Lobo is a man afraid to love because of a curse. Everyone he has ever loved has died. He will have to be willing to trust his feelings and learn that his love does not always lead to death. The dialogue flows smoothly and conveys the thoughts and feeling of the characters. This is an exciting, innovative and imaginative story that will thrill readers. From the beginning, the romance is an erotic experience. The sex is choreographed in explicitly graphic details that make it easily visualized by the reader. The chemistry between Becca and Lobo is electrifying and the passion is combustible. I truly enjoyed this original creation by Ashley Ladd. Make Believe Lover is an exciting magical adventure filled with steamy romance. It is sure to be enjoyed by all who read it.
