With explosive desire and passion between Marcus and Gabi that is given free rein within the pages of the story and while there is plenty of lust, there is love and tenderness that grows within the bounds of submission. The element of danger adds tension and suspense that drives the drama keeping the reader guessing and on the edge of their seats. The battle between master and his bratty sub not only creates a lasting connection but also pulls the reader along holding them captive to the edgy and erotic D/s play and punishment. Marcus and Gabi are appealing, complex and sharp characters whose personalities seem to click right from the start.
