| Note: This book is the sequel to Turquoise Dreams.
Professor of Archaeology, Doctor Angela Nortons three year little more than sex affair with Diego Calverton has finally hit the last strings of reason. She has just about had it with his excuses, his flirting with other girls, and lack of serious interest in settling down. Things are going to change, she vows, and that starts today, here, right now, at the wedding reception they are attending. As she is attempting to drink herself under the table while her lover is off flirting with yet another girl, one of Diegos hunky cousins takes her under his wing. Once the surprises are uncovered regarding family members, and the cousins have declared that Angela is open territory and may the best man win, the race to teach Diego a lesson is on. The family ties to archaeology with land that they own, and the findings unearthed culminate with a mysterious lidded vase and mystical dreams and nightmares involving all of them, once that vase is opened. A cat that is rather strange, a frog appearing in the middle of the night, the hypnotic gaze of green eyes appearing much too often in their dreams has them all on edge. There is the funniest scene right near the beginning of the story having to do with the pouty lip and tequila talking; hilarious. But slowly the humorous side to this story drops away and suspense takes over but dont let this chase you away; this book is very enjoyable. The slightly paranormal edge doesnt detract at all, and the characters are a lot of fun.
